Pure Evil is the alias of Charles Uzzell Edwards, the Welsh street artist and founder of Pure Evil Gallery in London. He will be exhibiting his work at Above Second gallery. His best-known series, “Nightmare,” depicts mega celebrities such as the Queen and Elvis Presley stenciled in bright spraypaint, tears forming small pools on the ground, dripping off the canvas. His Hong Kong show features a few homegrown celebs: Perhaps we’ll be treated to a fluorescent rendering of Bruce Lee shedding a single, enduring tear.
