Sun’s up and Served at Sugar: EAST Presents New Sum­mer Tea Set

Sum­mer is be­ing served up at EAST Hong Kong’s new­est af­ter­noon tea col­lab­o­ra­tion, “Beach Es­cape at Sugar,” fea­tur­ing a melange of sweet, sa­vory and boozy items to en­joy ev­ery Sun­day un­til late Septem­ber on EAST’s sea view rooftop bar, Sugar.

From crab salad, gaz­pa­cho and seared beef fil­let brioche to saw­dust pud­ding and mac­arons, EAST has col­lab­o­rated with Bri­tish nail art brand MoYou Lon­don to bring you the best fla­vors of the best sea­son.

Feel free to wash down af­ter­noon tea with some sig­na­ture col­or­ful cock­tails, such as Af­ter the Storm, Mesa Sun­rise, Into the Woods and Pa­gal; the Bora Bora is a per­fect non-al­co­holic al­ter­na­tive if you’re not look­ing to get sloshed be­fore the work­ing week be­gins.

Guests will also be treated to MYL’s beach­side nail art or a snazzy tem­po­rary tat­too, along with a bot­tle of eye-catch­ing nail pol­ish to take home.

Avail­able from 2-6pm ev­ery Sun­day un­til Septem­ber 25, the af­ter­noon tea is priced at $388 for two and an ad­di­tional $190 per ex­tra guest (sub­ject to a 10 per­cent ser­vice charge). Each guest will re­ceive a drinks voucher for their next visit, but guests want­ing to grab free­bies shouldn’t tarry, as they are given out on a first-come, first-served ba­sis.
