Do­ing away with its reg­u­lar sched­ule of metal and hard rock, The Un­der­ground is pre­sent­ing a night of elec­tro beats, bass and synth with a se­lec­tion of Hong Kong tal­ent. First up is Bri­tish for­mer punk/ folk rocker Andy Hep­burn who’s de­but­ing his com­plex am­bi­ent sounds and triphop un­der the moniker An Di Yi (安第一). He’s fol­lowed by Hong Kong-based Mex­i­can duo Deer, who per­form moody sounds that re­call Lynchian vibes. The will be rounded off by In­dian duo Fuz­zCul­ture (pic­tured), with their high en­ergy in­dus­trial elec­tron­ica. Sep 1, 8pm. The mu­sic-lov­ing party peo­ple of Delta are bring­ing in Bel­gian techno leg­end Peter Van Hoe­sen for the launch of Delta’s first Vo­lar event. Van Housen’s tunes tells rich, moody sto­ries, suited equally to the dance floor and to day­dream­ing, and as usual he’ll be bring­ing a set of brand new ma­te­rial you won’t hear any­where else. He’s sup­ported by Delta res­i­dents Al Burro, DJ Darko, Lukas and Claire. Sep 9, 10pm.
