Roy Har­grove Quin­tet, “Trib­ute to Miles” Two-time Grammy-win­ning jazz trum­peter Roy Har­grove and his quin­tet of mu­sic­mak­ers make a stop in Hong Kong to pay their re­spects to the late, great Miles Davis. Dis­cov­ered out of high school by Wyn­ton Marsalis, Har­grove has played with ev­ery­one from for­mer Miles col­lab­o­ra­tor Her­bie Han­cock to neo-soul lib­er­tine D’An­gelo and cer­ti­fied god­dess Erykah Badu. Con­cert Hall, City Hall, 5 Ed­in­burgh Place, Cen­tral. $280-580 from urbtix.hk The Lit­tle Match Girl Pas­sion Hong Kong’s fa­vorite Re­nais­sance choral group teams up with vis­it­ing con­duc­tor Christo­pher Wat­son for a per­for­mance of David Lang’s “Lit­tle Match Girl Pas­sion,” a con­tem­po­rary choral piece that sets Hans Chris­tian An­der­sen’s grim fa­ble to the style of one of Bach’s Pas­sions.
