When he bought it, the house did not have the inviting, open-plan layout it has today. Interior walls were knocked down and custom-made floor-to-ceiling windows were installed to welcome natural light into the space. "I wanted to change the house into a country house," Kim explains. "I didn’t do anything structural, but I brought the outside in. Nature made what’s outside and I can’t better it, I think it’s just beautiful. Even when it pours with rain, it still looks beautiful. It’s fantastic, it’s like art."
