great restaurant's success is often in bringing surprises and delights that are out of the ordinary. When it comes to nostalgia, however, it's a delicate balance—one that The Ritz-Carlton Macau's Lai Heen strikes perfectly as guests are led through the rich history of colonial Macau and the culinary heritage of the Cantonese repertoire. It's all courtesy of executive chef Bill Fu, who relocated to Macau to open the restaurant following the success of the hotel's Tin Lung Heen in Hong Kong.

Lai Heen welcomes guests into a timeless venue, with exquisite design and irresistible charm. Blue patterned tiles line the space and prized Chinese antique vases are neatly on display, accentuating the city's unique ChinesePortuguese connection.
