Banyan Lounge

Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants (Hong Kong / Macau) - - Bar review -

Situated in a quiet corner of the lobby level of Banyan Tree Macau, Banyan Lounge’s lofty décor comprises high ceilings, carpeted flooring and large, comfortable sofas that stretch across the lounge space. The lounge offers a tempting afternoon tea set every afternoon, serving fresh pastries and South-East Asian-inspired bites complete with beverages. Guests can also opt for wine by the glass from the well-stocked list, together with cocktails, including the selection from Saffron, the adjoining Thai restaurant. Guests will find a surprising selection of champagne cocktails, as well as Thai-inspired cocktails such as the spicy Tom Yum C, where lime juice, lemongrass, and chilies are spiked with vodka and a drizzle of syrup to mellow out the sharpness. Guests can also expect a good fruity selection of mocktails, fresh juices and smoothies.
