Light and Dark

Hong Kong Tatler Homes - - EDITOR'S NOTE -

Lalique collaborated with renowned French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon for the Signature collection of furniture and lighting fixtures. Rochon has taken crystal—a material usually used for dinnerware and ornamental objects—and used it in different ways to enhance the collection, which includes tables of various sizes, a Coutard chair, and chandeliers, adding lightness and shine to the wood or metal pieces. The Soudan pedestal table features panels of clear crystal etched with a geometric pattern and matched with a nickel frame and base—the sort of furniture that can pass as a work of art.
