Olivia Croucher Buckingham relives her memories as chief bridesmaid at the wedding

Hong Kong Tatler Weddings - - Cover Story -

I rarely say that I am speechless (and anyone who knows me can testify to that), but Fei and Lincoln’s wedding took my breath away. The island of Capri was the setting of all settings, and when it came to the three-day extravaganza—simply everything had been thought of, from the personalised basket filled with summer essentials as the welcome gift to the bespoke mini carts to transfer us to the top of Capri for the ceremony. Words can’t even begin to describe the beauty of the ceremony, from the wild flowers that covered the aisle to the wisteria cascading down the villa. And then there was the dress, a creation that we knew was going to be a sensation. Fei looked an absolute vision in layer upon layer of tulle by the one and only Giambattista Valli.

I was truly honoured to be Fei’s chief bridesmaid (#tokenblonde) and to do the first reading at the ceremony. Reading the words of Pablo Neruda to the couple brought tears to my eyes. The love they both have for one another is above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier for them both to embark on the next chapter of their journey.
