TAKE IT EASY THIS AUTUMN WITH DROPPED SHOULDERS, LOOSE COATS AND SOFT TAILORING
Dressing for success takes on a new shape this season as designers do away with stiff suits and Windsor ties to focus on more relaxed styling. Suits and coats feature dropped or rounded shoulders, with Giorgio Armani (main picture) playing with checks, doublebreasted suits and raglan sleeves on jackets and sweaters. Kim Jones at Louis Vuitton presents slightly oversized coats and suits over basic white T-shirts, matched with long scarves and loose trousers (right). Even accessories are slouchy and soft, as seen in Ermenegildo Zegna’s latest overnight bag, Gucci’s backpack and Salvatore Ferragamo’s cashmere scarf (far right).
