J CREW

Influenced by the cabarets of 1920s and early ’30s Berlin, J Crew showcased lush styling, minimal layering, rich colours and Donegal tweeds. Long, layered skirts, gold and beading made for a luxurious, feminine collection with an underlying sophistication. Key items included three-quarter-length trousers, puffy jackets and a tri-colour sheepskin stripe pattern that popped up on a vest and long scarf—quite possibly the most snuggly this season. Our favourite looks were a textured pink dress with a wide collar, and a rich brown leather vest with lacework detail on the sleeves and waist, teamed with matching trousers.
