Best of Ballet

Hong Kong Tatler - - Hot Ticket -

In celebration of the dance company’s 35th anniversary, the Hong Kong Ballet presents a trio of eclectic performances—balanchine’s innovative, women-centric Serenade, Nacho Duato’s Castrati, set to music by Vivaldi and Karl Jenkins, and a favourite scene from the classic Swanlake. The pieces were selected in order to showcase the dance company’s most quintessential qualities, namely a unique repertoire, great talent and a reverence for ballet’s heritage. October 24–26; Cultural Centre, Grand Theatre; $140-1,000 from
