Sesto Elemento

Hong Kong Tatler - - Cars -

The trend of selling concept cars started with the Sesto Elemento, a Gallardo-based test car that made its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. It was built almost entirely from carbon fibre and helped Lamborghini—and partner Boeing—make a quantum leap in the technology. It wasn’t for sale, but then someone waved US$2.9 million and it overtook Bugatti’s Veyron as the world priciest car at the time.
