VINTAGE INSPIRATION
German photographer Dan Carabas took his first pictures at the tender age of 14 with his father’s 1970s Zenit. Upon falling in love with the vintage camera, Dan began developing his cinematic, emotional and painterly style. After moving to Paris in 2008, he worked at Le Studio Rouchon and assisted some of the most influential photographers of our time. Currently a contributor for a variety of international fashion magazines including Elle and GQ, he splits his time between Berlin, Paris and London. In this issue, Dan gets behind the lens for our bright, bold beauty shoot (p.210).
