The shift in He­lena’s list of pri­or­i­ties also in­cluded time spent on skin­care. “Be­fore I was a mother, I went to fa­cials twice a week. I had more time for pro­fes­sion­als to work on my skin and make sure it is at its peak con­di­tion,” says He­lena. “Since I had my girls, I go about once a month, so I have to make sure that my daily rou­tine at home is good enough to keep my skin in good shape!”

With her busy sched­ule, He­lena re­sponded im­me­di­ately to the po­ten­tial of the prod­ucts. “Since I’m so busy dur­ing the day, I try to make my evening skin­care rou­tine more ther­a­peu­tic,” she says. “I ap­ply the cream with a sim­ple mas­sage and when I in­hale, it is im­por­tant to me that the prod­uct has a re­lax­ing aroma.”

“How to keep a good bal­ance be­tween life and work is the ul­ti­mate ques­tion for all women,” says Leigh. “You want to do ev­ery­thing well but you can’t pos­si­bly do that so you have to pick and choose.”

For­tu­nately, Leigh’s work is all project based, en­abling her to bet­ter con­trol her sched­ule and time spent away from fam­ily. One of her beloved projects ev­ery year is the Hong Kong Bal­let’s an­nual Nutcracker Fam­ily Ben­e­fit, held this year at the Is­land Shangri-la, Hong Kong.

“The whole pur­pose of the Ben­e­fit is to pro­mote the love of dance to chil­dren,” says Leigh. “We’ve been do­ing it for six years and it’s a nice fam­ily event. Chil­dren get to per­form the Nutcracker rou­tine with the Hong Kong Bal­let’s dancers and it is a great op­por­tu­nity for them.”

Set­ting a good ex­am­ple for her kids is what mo­ti­vates Leigh to seek new chal­lenges. “You want to be a role model for your daugh­ters es­pe­cially and I think it is im­por­tant for women to have some­thing of their own, whether it be work or char­i­ta­ble causes.”

So when it comes to her skin­care prod­ucts, Leigh looks for some­thing that is fast and ef­fi­cient. Like He­lena, the Synactif cream ap­peals to Leigh be­cause it cov­ers ev­ery­thing in one step.
