Fashion designer Vivienne Tam, singer and actress Karen Mok and politician Audrey Eu were just a few of the leading lights who spoke in support of The Women’s Foundation at its 10th anniversary gala dinner. The master of ceremonies for the evening was Reuters journalist Tara Joseph. During dinner inspirational speeches were also delivered by Su-mei Thompson, CEO of The Women’s Foundation, and Regina Leung, president of The Community Chest of Hong Kong and wife of the Chief Executive. Also in attendance was York Chow, chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission, who said: “I applaud The Women’s Foundation for their innovative initiatives to empower our community towards positive change.”
