Hong Kong Tatler - - Faces -

Ivy Cheng Monica Wong Guests were in for a big treat at the Asia Society Hong Kong by way of an exclusive dinner dedicated to Dom Pérignon’s Second Plénitude. The night began with cocktails on the outdoor terrace of the historic Old Victoria Barracks, where attendees enjoyed a tantalising selection of canapés with Dom Pérignon Blanc Vintage 2004. Following a welcome speech by Shaine Devenny, the managing director of Moët Hennessy Diageo Hong Kong, people were escorted into the dining room, where they were engulfed in a plume of smoke as if transported into a mystical realm. Projections on the walls of the dining space added to the atmosphere, with powerful imagery of ocean waves, majestic mountains and moving clouds setting the tone. Delectable surprises on the tables awaited, including langoustine with papaya and caviar tartare, guinea fowl and ginger red curry, all paired with Dom Pérignon P2 Vintage 1998. Olivia Lee-davies, Monica Wong and Reggie Li-kwok, as well as Dom Pérignon’s chef de cave, Richard Geoffroy, were among those in attendance.
