The city’s most avid phi­lan­thropists band to­gether for the Aids Con­cern Triple Zero char­ity run to help com­bat HIV

“There is an alarm­ing in­crease in the HIV in­fec­tion rate in Hong Kong,” says An­drew Yuen, pa­tron of Aids Con­cern. For that rea­son he and fel­low pa­trons Car­rie Lam and Anne Mar­den will be lac­ing up with 1,000 oth­ers for the in­au­gu­ral Aids Con­cern Triple Zero char­ity run/walk on Sun­day April 19. “We need Hong Kong peo­ple to sup­port our am­bi­tion for zero new in­fec­tions, zero stigma and zero Aids deaths,” he says. Par­tic­i­pants will re­ceive T-shirts de­signed by artist Stan­ley Wong, race-day goodie bags, re­fresh­ments and a cool-down yoga class on com­ple­tion of the course.
