or fash­ion blog­ger and fit­ness fa­natic Sharie RossTse, fight­ing can­cer was a gru­elling test of body and mind. Thank­fully, she could af­ford the best treat­ment—but many Hongkongers can’t. This is one of the key rea­sons RossTse is spear­head­ing a new cam­paign to raise money for the Hong Kong Ad­ven­tist Hos­pi­tal Foun­da­tion’s Can­cer Fund, which gives those who can’t af­ford es­sen­tial treat­ments ac­cess to the Ad­ven­tist On­col­ogy Cen­tre. The cam­paign, called Women of Hope, recog­nises in­spi­ra­tional lo­cal women who have ex­celled across a di­verse range of sec­tors. Read­ers of Hong Kong Tatler are in­vited to lodge votes on­line for the women they feel are the most de­serv­ing. The win­ners will be an­nounced at the Women of Hope Awards lunch, which will take place on Thurs­day, June 11, at the Asia So­ci­ety.
