Hong Kong Tatler - - Faces -

The atmosphere was thick with excitement at Swiss haute horology brand Audemars Piguet’s exclusive party at Lan Kwai Fong’s California Tower to kick off Art Basel in Hong Kong. More than 500 guests came to get a glimpse of the collaboration between curator Shen Ruijun and renowned French designer Mathieu Lehanneur, who designed the space for this year’s Art Basel in Hong Kong Collectors Lounge, titled Mineral Lab. A replica of the lounge was recreated on the bottom floor of the party space, where guests walked through a misty green installation to arrive at the party. François-henry Bennahmias, CEO of Audemars Piguet, welcomed guests, explaining: “Art has always been an important source for Audemars Piguet. The collaborations between contemporary art and the superb artistry and technical mastery of watchmaking continue to extend, and stronger connections between the two worlds are forged each year.” Socialites seen partying the night away included Helen Ma, Olivia Croucher Buckingham and Sean Lee-davies.
