Drop shoulders, snap buttons and sporty mesh panels—we’re in an active mood this season

Hong Kong Tatler - - Style -

Clean, precise and sleek: designers from Guillaume Henry (for his final men’s collection at Carven) to JW Anderson (at his eponymous label) fine-tuned their sportswear with off-duty looks to impress. Anderson’s last three runway exits were his interpretations of the classic baseball tee—the shirts buttoned halfway, with an exaggerated drop shoulder, and ribbed white trim on the neck and arms. Henry, on the other hand, gave classic shirts a graphic treatment with horizontal bars. Running shoes and duffle bags in bright colour blocks, with mesh panels or a pair of reflective-lensed sunglasses, will add a fresh finish to the athletic ensembles.
