Wiederrecht is known
for his love of retrograde movements. He developed his first biretrograde perpetual calendar complication in 1988, a module he designed for Harry Winston. It was a first in the watchmaking world. Since then he has consistently broken new ground. He holds numerous patents for different projects he’s worked on with the world’s most wellknown watch companies. In 1999, he and his wife, Catherine, founded Agenhor, a company that specialises in designing unique complications. His most recent collaborations are on ladies complications with Van Cleef & Arpels and Fabergé.
