Flights of Fancy

In Mother Earth’s hands, cocoons transform into butterflies. In Laurence Graff ’s hands, rough stones transform into the most magnificent works of art

Like a butterfly taking flight as it emerges from its cocoon, Laurence Graff has led his jewellery company through a beautiful sequence of transformation. From his humble beginnings as a diamond apprentice, he has become the king of diamonds; a renowned diamantaire who has handled more stones of notable rarity than any other jeweller.

Owning a piece from the Butterfly Collection is sharing a part of Mr Graff’s life-long passion and spirit. From elegant necklaces to magnificent timepieces, every Butterfly piece from GRAFF is a statement of the wearer’s sophisticated taste, as divine as nature’s exquisite treasures.

Inspired by the delicate symmetry of the wings of the butterfly, GRAFF uses highly sculptural arrangements and dazzling shapes of marquise and pear-shape diamonds to create masterpieces that transcend time.

From a range of jewellery watches, where each butterfly appears to hover above a layer of intricately set gemstones; to earrings, necklaces, pendants and rings, all meticulously created by the maison’s master craftsmen, each piece evokes the movement and fluidity of a butterfly in flight.

The brilliance of diamonds captures the essence of these
