Love and laughter filled the air when Jackson Fong and Patricia Che tied the knot. It began with tea ceremonies at the homes of both the bride and groom in the morning. Then, several hundred guests congregated at the Four Seasons for a ceremony during which Patricia and Jackson exchanged vows and signed the marriage certificate. A buffet lunch followed, along with a photo session in the foyer with friends and family. The groom’s mother, Helen Fong, told the gathering, “Jackson and Patricia have known each other for 10 years but romance blossomed over the past three years, and I couldn’t be more proud and happy.” The festivities wound up with an evening banquet, speeches and cake-cutting ceremony attended by 300 guests. A video record of the bride and groom in their younger years entertained the wellwishers, who included many of the city’s influential figures.
