CAVALIA OPENING NIGHT

Staged in a sprawling white tent at Central Harbourfront, the acrobatic and equestrian show Cavalia lived up to its tagline (“a magical encounter between human and horse”), captivating a strong openingnight turnout of Hong Kong glitterati. Sponsored by the Jockey Club and featuring 40 magnificent horses of different breeds, the show thrilled the 2,000-strong throng with its unique blend of equestrianism and performing arts. Before the action, a select group of 500 were treated to a dinner prepared by the troupe’s head chef in the Jockey Club VIP tent. After the show, a few lucky guests capped off the night with a tour of the stables. Seen among the crowd were Anina Ho, Michelle Ong- Cheung and Sally Chan.
