Candy Lo’s love and passion for jade runs in the family. Her mother loves them, so does her son Jonathan.

During a recent photo shoot for the newly-opened Tin Min Jade in Macau, the former Miss Asia brought her son along and they ended up shopping for jade in the shop instead.

“I already have a dozen pieces of jade in my collection. We bought two pieces, which both of us can wear. My son always invests his money in gold anyway, and jade is another good investment,” Candy said.

As for the commercial, Candy said she had done many commercials with jade jewelry but usually dressed in traditional gown to match the style.

“This time it is all evening dresses because the jewelry designs are very fashionable and you can wear them even with casual wear,” said Candy, who finished the commercial in three hours, wearing three evening dresses to match the six sets of jade.

As for preparing herself for the photo shoot, Candy said she is always ready. “I do facials and keep fit all the time so when the job comes I am ready.”
