Online fashion retailer Net-a-porter hosted a private dinner for VIPS at House of Madison to celebrate the launch of a social media app that unites fashionistas around the world. The digital initiative, The Net Set, enables users to create a profile and fill it with Net-a-porter goods from a live feed of what’s trending around the globe. Users can follow friends, trendsetters and “style tribes” to see what they’re browsing, as well as post their own style wisdom. Chef Vicky Lau of Tate Dining Room and Bar catered the evening. Net-a-porter’s vice-president of global buying, Sarah Rutson, was on hand to explain the app, and guests received a special code so they could try it out. Feiping Chang remarked that she was “so excited for The Net Set to bring fashion lovers together on a dynamic social platform.”
