The Langham, Hong Kong has recently undergone a US$30 million facelift, executed by London-based interior and architectural design firm GA Design. The project has raised the benchmark for luxury hotels in the city, as one can see in the newly unveiled rooms and remodelled hightea destination Palm Court. The refurbishment project includes the Artesian, a stylish hangout that hails from London, where it has been voted “The World’s Best Bar” by Drinks International magazine for three years running.

Here in Hong Kong, Artesian is designed as a natural extension of Palm Court and characterised by a decor that blends art deco details with contemporary style. With a fireplace to complete the cosy feel, this new outlet at The Langham, Hong Kong promises to be the new hotspot for the territory’s well heeled. Here, they can luxuriate in style with a wide selection of wines and premium spirits, and live entertainment from a harp player, pianist and singer.

Gallery owner and philanthropist Jane ChaoLee took time out of her busy schedule to visit the bar. Jane is known for her work in supporting the Changing Young Lives Foundation, which provides relief for underprivileged children, and for
