Exclusive dinners, elegant cocktail gatherings and parties galore
It was an inspiring afternoon at the Women of Hope Awards luncheon, as hundreds gathered at the Asia Society to find out the results of a month-long poll on Hong Kong Tatler’s online platform. This year, 10 uniquely inspirational women were selected—kai N Cheong (in the category of Health Advocate), Sharon Kwok-pong (Eco-warrior), Su-mei Thompson (Power and Influence), Michelle Sun and Karen Farzam (Entrepreneur), Su Lee Chen (Champion of a Better Life), Margaret Chung and Hersha Chellaram (Children’s Advocate), Fiona Kotur (Global Champion) and Andrea Fessler (Art and Culture). Guests feasted on delectable dishes catered by Pomegranate and were highly moved by cancer survivors who shared their experiences. Proceeds from the event went to support the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation’s (HKAHF) cancer fund. Hosted by Robyn Lamsam and Jo Soo-tang, the event was sponsored by Trésor Rare, Kotur and Damiani; socialites present included Claudine Ying, Sue Lynn Woo-hwa and Shirley Hiranand.
