Hong Kong Tatler’s restau­rant awards will be re­vealed this month at an ex­clu­sive event to launch the 32nd ad­di­tion of our an­nual din­ing bi­ble

Our an­nual guide to the year’s best din­ing ex­pe­ri­ences and culi­nary des­ti­na­tions, Hong Kong Tatler Best Res­tau­rants, will be launched on Novem­ber 19 at an ex­clu­sive soiree for more than 400 of Hong Kong and Ma­cau’s top culi­nary pro­fes­sion­als. The glit­ter­ing event will also see the rev­e­la­tion of the Top 20 res­tau­rants and the pre­sen­ta­tion of awards to the hos­pi­tal­ity cham­pi­ons of the two ci­ties.

Hong Kong Tatler’s re­view­ers visit, incog­nito, more than 250 res­tau­rants ev­ery year to as­sess them for our an­nual din­ing bi­ble and awards. Food­ies and the hos­pi­tal­ity sec­tor ea­gerly an­tic­i­pate the awards and the Top 20, which last year in­cluded new­com­ers such as Mott 32, Serge et Le Phoque and Bibo.

It’s been a fan­tas­tic year for the open­ing of new hos­pi­tal­ity out­lets, and the short­list of award con­tenders in­cludes ex­cit­ing new­com­ers such as Ar­cane, Tri, Mr & Mrs Fox, Ta Vie, Shinji by Kane­saka and Um­berto Bom­bana’s new Ma­cau restau­rant, Otto e Mezzo.

In ad­di­tion to Best New Restau­rant, awards for Best New Chef, Best Pas­try Chef, and Best Cock­tails, among oth­ers, will also be be­stowed, along with the Read­ers’ Choice award for Best New Restau­rant, which was the sub­ject of a week-long vote held on Hongkong­tatler.com in Oc­to­ber.
