Hong Kong Tatler - - Faces -

Having engaged in friendly banter with Bruce Rockowitz, Sean Lee-davies then challenged Bruce’s wife, Coco Lee, to treat the audience to a song. Coco responded by gallantly taking the microphone and singing an impromptu, and very impressive, rendition of Stand by Me, circling among the tables while her husband looked on adoringly. As dessert was served, Sean Fitzpatrick, chief creative officer at Edipresse Media Asia, publisher of Hong Kong Tatler, mounted the stage to announce the recipients of the magazine’s annual awards. First was Most Promising Young Lady (sponsored by La Prairie), which went to Candy Chuang, chairwoman of the online auction house Treasure. Candy, who said she was “surprised and honoured” as she did not regard herself as young anymore, was dashing off after the ball for a flight to Italy to marry her beau, Neville Kotewall. In naming Claudia Shaw, buyer and regional style adviser for Chanel, Most Stylish Woman (also sponsored by La Prairie), Sean could not resist asking for the secret of her great abs, to which she quipped, “It’s all in the genes.”
