Journey Through Time

Hong Kong Tatler - - Faces -

Hong Kong’s glowing skyline served as the backdrop as Vacheron Constantin, one of the oldest watchmakers in the world, celebrated its 260th anniversary on the 100th floor of the ICC. Following gatherings in Geneva and Shanghai, the Swiss watchmaker invited a select group of guests to embark on an explorative journey in discovering the manufacturer’s universe through three artworks. Another work of art in itself was the mixed chocolate dessert, designed to resemble the movement of a watch. A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Vacheron Constantin’s most complicated watch ever, the Reference 57260, a timepiece that combines unimaginable complication with technical innovation. It was shown to guests ahead of its public unveiling at the Watches & Wonders exhibition the following day.
