A. Lange & Söhne has marked the birth of founder Ferdinand Adolph Lange two centuries ago with a limited edition 1815 “200th Anniversary FA Lange” watch, created with a special surface finish, a honey-gold case—one of Lange’s signature alloys—and a solid silver dial. Composed of 188 parts, the manually wound calibre L051.1 has a power reserve of 55 hours. The 40mm case is engraved with the watch’s number in the series of 200. The 36mm Little Lange 1 gets two new models with solid silver dials treated with a blue base tint under a thin layer of mother-of-pearl. The version with the pink-gold case combines pink-gold applied indices and a subtly textured beige calfskin strap, while the white-gold model’s indices are in rhodium-plated gold and its calfskin strap matches the blue of the dial. Both have an automatic movement with a three-day power reserve.
