Cel­e­brate Christ­mas at Har­bour City with an en­tic­ing ar­ray of culi­nary and con­fec­tionary de­lights

The hol­i­day sea­son at Hong Kong’s shop­ping malls al­ways makes for a spec­tac­u­lar visit. With the abun­dant and di­verse re­tail choices at Har­bour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, it’s an es­pe­cially invit­ing lo­ca­tion at this time of year.

This bustling trans­port hub and re­tail gi­ant also of­fers a range of din­ing des­ti­na­tions. One of the top choices is French fine-din­ing lu­mi­nary ÉPURE, with its fan­tas­tic views of Vic­to­ria Har­bour and Hong Kong Is­land—ideal for spe­cial oc­ca­sions and fes­tive cel­e­bra­tions. This year, ex­ec­u­tive chef Ni­co­las Boutin and his tal­ented team have cre­ated a glam­orous feast for din­ers, offering the best of French cui­sine and in­cor­po­rat­ing the finest in-sea­son in­gre­di­ents such as win­ter black truf­fles, blue lob­sters, foie gras, Nor­mandy scal­lops and Dover sole, to men­tion just a few.

Christ­mas din­ers can choose from two-, three­and four-course menus for lunch or din­ner, with pack­ages that in­clude free-flow cham­pagne or an ar­ray of hot drinks such as chocolate, gin­ger, cherry or mulled wine, as well as fes­tive cock­tails and mock­tails. Af­ter­noon tea is avail­able in La Ter­rasse un­til 5pm on De­cem­ber 24, 25 and 31, af­ter which din­ers are in­vited to re­lax in the lounge area or cafe.

Ev­ery­body’s favourite fam­ily restau­rant, Jamie’s Ital­ian, is offering a spe­cial three-course Christ­mas

set menu for HK$588, which in­cludes gas­tro­nomic de­lights for the main cour­ses, such as 24-hour slow-cooked roasted pork belly, or pan-fried sea bass fil­lets served on cele­riac and fen­nel purée with brown shrimp and sam­phire. Starters in­clude the mouth-wa­ter­ing cured and crispy fish plank (which in­cor­po­rates beet­root-cured salmon, roasted shell­fish and smoked mack­erel pâté), while de­lec­ta­ble desserts such as the Epic Mocha Brownie with hon­ey­comb ice cream and spiced caramelised pop­corn will tan­ta­lise the taste buds. The menu also in­cludes a glass of sparkling prosecco on ar­rival.

For Christ­mas shop­pers seek­ing an ex­cep­tional epi­curean ex­pe­ri­ence, the Queen of Chocolate at C’est La B is a spe­cial blend of five of the finest va­ri­eties of chocolate from Bel­gium, France and Italy. Ex­pect dif­fer­ent tex­tures of dark chocolate with light sponge cake, fudge and chocolate shav­ings, plus a layer of white chocolate mousse. Cer­tainly fit for a queen (or a king), the Queen of Chocolate cake is avail­able in two sizes: 500g and 1kg.

Of course, Christ­mas wouldn’t be the same with­out the gift of Go­diva choco­lates.
