Hong Kong Tatler - - Behind The Scenes -

earing a floral summer dress, Claudia Shaw, the stylish grandniece of the late media mogul Run Run Shaw, sat in almost comically pretty contrast to the dusty, industrial film studios serving as the location for our cover shoot. For one so polished and beautiful, Claudia was surprisingly low maintenance. She disliked her hair being fussed over, insisting that her glossy long tresses be left straight and that the make-up artist keep things natural—“i want to look like me, not someone else.”

When it came to the clothes, Claudia, regional style adviser and ambassador for Chanel, was bedecked entirely from a rack of the brand’s latest collection. She was the consummate brand custodian and declined to wear the diamanteencrusted heels proposed by the stylist, opting for the classic black courts she had brought as a backup instead—“much more Chanel.”

Once on set, Claudia was initially a little shy— but once the music was cranked up, she got into her stride and began to pose with poise. She even had a little boogie towards the end.
