LABEL Lover Teacher’s pet Craig Green completed a BA (Hons) Fashion degree in print before taking central Saint Martins’ internationally respected MA Fashion course under the late, great Louise Wilson’s mentorship.

WHAT A PLANK! Although widely lauded by the press, the 27-year-old designer’s first collection (shown at London collections: Men in 2013 as part of Topman and Fashion east’s MAN initiative) included face-framing wooden sculptures that were openly mocked by David Gandy on live television, while the

wrote a scathing critique headlined “What a plank!”— one of Green’s favourite review quotes to date.

FIGHTING BACK WITH TEARS The designer turned the tables when his first solo show in 2014 had members of the Frow sobbing over his stunningly poetic SS15 collection. His SS16 has a similarly surreal energy— models in monochrome reminiscent of karate kit carried timber posts draped with sheets and strange circles were cut in torsos. Green is one to watch.
