Test of Time

Hong Kong Tatler - - Faces -

A rare Patek Philippe watch was the highlight of a preview cocktail party held in the lead-up to the inaugural Hong Kong watch sale by the auction house Phillips in association with the consulting firm Bacs & Russo. The watch—a Reference 3450 manufactured in 1985 and believed to be one of only two made in white gold—was one of 350 vintage and modern timepieces by some of the world’s top brands, including Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin and Cartier, that went under the hammer. It sold for HK$12.04 million.
