The 200-room property, built at a cost of US$1.4 billion—that’s an eye-popping US$7 million per room—blends baroque and contemporary interior design. The rooms range from deluxe 2,000sqft suites to the sprawling 30,000sqft Villa de Stephen, each with its own private lift access. All guests will enjoy the service of 24hour butlers trained by top global institutions, and they’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. The 13 will feature six world-class restaurants within its regal confines—one being the first branch of Parisian bistro L’ambroisie, which has three Michelin stars, to open overseas. Guests will also enjoy the world’s first private invitation-only shopping area, The 13’s L’atelier, which will feature oneof-a-kind products from top luxury brands.
