e’ve all been caught in the act. It’s flirty, childish, sensuous and oddly soothing all at the same time. I’m talking about fiddling with your jewellery, of course, and Piaget has precisely the collection to indulge this guilty pleasure. Called Possession, the range features rings, necklaces and bracelets, all with moveable parts. Thankfully, we’re not alone in our ringspinning and neckless-twiddling obsession. Speaking about the collection, actress and Piaget brand ambassador Jessica Chastain says: “I’ve always been the girl who likes to turn my rings on my fingers—and how incredible that it’s actually designed to turn. It feels playful and, as I wear it, I’m constantly in a meditative state. I’m always turning it. It’s very addictive. And when I turn it, it reminds me that I’m the creator of the beautiful things that come into my life.” Exciting new pieces were recently introduced to this collection, all of which are crafted in pink gold. Aimed at attracting Piaget’s younger customers, they can be worn individually or as a suite. Given its classic design, however, the collection will appease any fashion style. The rims of the rings, for instance, can be turned, as can the gem-set middle section of the balls that are found on either ends of the cuff bracelets and necklace. The rings come in three versions: one set with a brilliant-cut diamond; another with one of the three rims set with 46 diamonds on top of a brilliant-cut central diamond; and last but certainly not least, a fully pavéd version set with 234 diamonds. Following the structural, strong design theme are Possession’s open-ended bangles and necklaces set with diamonds. The bangles come in three versions, with variations mainly on the number of the precious stones—the most luxurious is set with 90 diamonds. For those with even more feminine tastes, you can opt for the traditional necklace with a movable Possession pendant. So, twist and turn away— fiddling is finally in fashion! Clockwise from top: Diamond-set pendants from the Possession collection; actress Jessica Chastain prefers to stack her rings and bangles; a bangle with 30 diamonds and another featuring diamonds totalling one carat; a ring encrusted with 234 diamonds and a subtler version with eight brilliant-cut diamonds
