The stars were out for the sangeet of Sheeva Harilela, the daughter of David and Avisha Harilela, before she married long-time boyfriend Lukesh Alwani, the son of Ashok and Gitu Alwani. A celebration for the bride-to-be that traditionally precedes Hindu nuptials, the sangeet was held at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile on the Wednesday of a week of festivities, two days before the couple formally tied the knot. Friends of the bride and groom dressed to impress in keeping with the “Rajasthani royals” dress code. Free-flowing champagne paired with Bollywood hits had everyone dancing well into the wee hours, and Sheeva’s bridal party performed a routine to Beyoncé’s Crazy in Love.
