Wow. The best syrah in Tus­cany this year. In­cred­i­ble depth and beauty. The tex­ture is so plush yet pol­ished and ca­ress­ing. Full body. The fin­ish of choco­late, hazel­nut, smoked meat and fruit lasts for min­utes. Drink or hold. Pure syrah. 98 points

Aro­mas of black­berry, burnt or­ange, liquorice and spice fol­low through to a full body with su­per-in­te­grated and fine tan­nins plus a fab­u­lous depth of fruit and cen­tre palate. This is a great wine. Drink in 2017.
