Hong Kong Tatler - - Style -

Miu Miu It’s a bit like the first time you post on Instagram, the first time you dunk your biscotti in your coffee or the first time you wear lipstick and no mascara. Layering pattern on pattern is, initially, mighty nerve wracking. How will this feel? What will people think of me? And yet master the art of polypattern dressing and you will positively steam ahead in the style stakes. The spring-summer runways saw florals and plaids and geometric prints, stripes and brocades mixed and matched in a heady melange to create looks that were brave and beautiful and just a little bit bonkers. Fear looking like you got dressed in the dark? Choose one print to dominate and one as an accent, mix prints of different scale and keep fabrics in the same colour family. I promise, you’ll feel like a prints-cess.
