Em­ploy­ees Only and Hong Kong Tatler hosted a din­ner to mark the open­ing of the New York speakeasy’s HK branch

Fol­low­ing a suc­cess­ful pop-up event at MO Bar in 2015 and the launch of its Sin­ga­pore branch ear­lier this year, the ac­claimed New York speakeasy Em­ploy­ees Only is re­turn­ing to Hong Kong—per­ma­nently. Hong Kong Tatler in­vited a select group of VIPS for a sneak peek at the restau­rant and bar, con­ve­niently lo­cated in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, be­fore its of­fi­cial open­ing. Guests en­joyed Amer­i­can com­fort food—the sig­na­ture EO grilled cheese, sausage ca­vatelli and hand­cut steak tartare proved firm favourites—and then there was EO’S ex­ten­sive cock­tail menu. We spot­ted Vic­to­ria Chow sip­ping on a Man­hat­tan, Jan­ice Le­ung­hayes raved about The Amelia, an EO sig­na­ture cock­tail, and Greg Mcna­mara was never with­out a Ne­groni.
