Hong Kong Tatler - - Faces -

The atrium of IFC Mall was transformed into a French-style patio for The Art of Jewellery Since 1780, a three-part exhibition tracing Parisian jeweller Chaumet’s history since its founding in 1780. The first section focused on Chaumet as the master of tiaras— the jeweller has made more than 3,000—and guests at the opening cocktail party had the opportunity to try on a range of tiaras and take selfies. The fountain at the centre of the exhibition showcased a selection of high jewellery created over Chaumet’s more than two centuries of history. The third section provided a virtual-reality experience that swept guests off to 12 locations, including Chaumet’s home, Place Vendôme in Paris, and Beijing’s Forbidden City.
