Patek Philippe cel­e­brates its 175th in HK

A year af­ter Patek Philippe marked its 175th an­niver­sary, the fes­tiv­i­ties con­tin­ued this time in Hong Kong, dur­ing a two-day af­fair with a cel­e­bra­tion be­fit of the his­toric and highly-es­teemed man­u­fac­ture it is. The brand’s VIPs, re­tail­ers and over 60 me­dia friends were among those in­vited to take part in a lav­ish lun­cheon at the In­tercon­ti­nen­tal Ho­tel in Tsim Sha Tsui, which was cer­tainly not short on en­ter­tain­ment. To per­son­ally wel­come guests were Jérôme Per­nici, Head of Com­mer­cial & Mar­ket­ing of Patek Philippe, and Anne-Gaëlle Ruch-Quinet, In­ter­na­tional Tech­ni­cal & Sales Trainer for the brand.

Guests dined in style at the In­tercon­ti­nen­tal’s ball­room, while be­ing en­ter­tained with a se­ries of ex­hil­a­rat­ing per­for­mances that in­cluded in­ter­pre­ta­tive dances and some opera singing. Mid­way through lunch, guests were ush­ered into a se­cluded area where Patek Philippe pre­sented its Grand­mas­ter Chime, which, to the delight of guests, was flown in es­pe­cially for the oc­ca­sion.

Other no­table time­pieces on dis­play at a mini ex­hibit set up right out­side the ball­room were the Chim­ing Jump Hour, World Time Moon and Multi-Scale Chrono­graph.
