Patek Philippe celebrates its 175th in HK
A year after Patek Philippe marked its 175th anniversary, the festivities continued this time in Hong Kong, during a two-day affair with a celebration befit of the historic and highly-esteemed manufacture it is. The brand’s VIPs, retailers and over 60 media friends were among those invited to take part in a lavish luncheon at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, which was certainly not short on entertainment. To personally welcome guests were Jérôme Pernici, Head of Commercial & Marketing of Patek Philippe, and Anne-Gaëlle Ruch-Quinet, International Technical & Sales Trainer for the brand.
Guests dined in style at the Intercontinental’s ballroom, while being entertained with a series of exhilarating performances that included interpretative dances and some opera singing. Midway through lunch, guests were ushered into a secluded area where Patek Philippe presented its Grandmaster Chime, which, to the delight of guests, was flown in especially for the occasion.
Other notable timepieces on display at a mini exhibit set up right outside the ballroom were the Chiming Jump Hour, World Time Moon and Multi-Scale Chronograph.
