Parmigiani Re­turns to Mon­treux

Parmigiani once more as­sumed the dis­tin­guished role of ti­tle spon­sor at the 2015 Mon­treux Jazz Fes­ti­val ( MJF), an event which the brand has con­tin­u­ally sup­ported since 2007. This year, Parmigiani cre­ated three new watch mod­els for the event; the first two were the Tonda Métro­graphe MJF and Tonda Métropoli­taine MJF, both in­spired by the fes­ti­val’s poster, it­self de­signed by Swiss pop artist Sylvie Fleury. Dur­ing the 16-day mu­sic fes­ti­val, these watches were pre­sented to par­tic­i­pat­ing artists, in­clud­ing Lady Gaga, Tony Ben­nett, John Leg­end, Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith, Kronos Quar­tet, So­phie Hunger, Die Ant­wo­ord, Por­tishead, Dianne Reeves, Al Jar­reau, Melody Gar­dot, Se­bastien Schuller, Sinéad O’Con­nor, and Ge­orge Ezra.

Parmigiani also took the op­por­tu­nity to in­tro­duce the new Tonda Tourbillon Mar­quetry - Tonda Tourbillon Solo de Jazz, a time­piece de­pict­ing a mu­si­cian and his trum­pet, the bell of which turns into the tourbillon.
