H. Moser & Cie
Continuing down the path of minimalism and optimal legibility, H. Moser & Cie has given its Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity a significant makeover. The mysterious smoky blue fumé dial provides a solid backdrop for the white gold hour and minute markers to stand out, as well as a large date display at 3 o’clock, smalls seconds subdial at 6 o’clock and power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock. The star of the show is, in true Moser fashion, kept almost hidden; a tiny center perpetual calendar hand can be set forwards or backwards at any time, indicating the month. There is also no sign of any logo or branding. A tiny step up from 40.8mm to 42mm, the now larger white gold case allows for the signature design codes to still shine through, while offering a profile view expressing the minimalism and craftsmanship of the lugs, sloping bezel and curves case back. The hand-wound caliber HMC 800 remains the same, adapted to fit the new case size, and boasts a full seven days of power reserve.
