Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality are both advanced computer man-machine interface Abstract technology based on Computer Graphics, Multi-media, Multi-sensory and other technologies. Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality have always been concerned because of their inherent four essential features: multi-sensory, immersion, interaction and imagination. With the progress of computer science in recent years, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality have been developing at express/ speed, and occupying a more and more important position in entertainment, education, medical, art, business, manufacturing and other fields. We analyzed the research status and technological features of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality at home and abroad. We also designed some innovative applications of science museums according to the technological features, and gave some proposals simultaneously.
