First-author's Address Wuhan museum of science and technology, e-mail: 290930702@qq.com Abstract This article introduces the experience of Brooklyn Children's Museum and Boston Children's Museum taking "multiculture" as local resources in exhibitions. Combining the practices of Wuhan Museum of Science and Technology and Guizhou1 Science and Technology Museum, the author points out that the "stories around", such as social culture and natural environment, can be introduced into exhibitions for children, which helps visitors understand the ideas and knowledge conveyed by exhibitions in the familiar life experience.
