Set on a 31 hectare site, the Bei­jing South Sta­tion is one of four key rail­way links for China’s high-speed in­ter­city net­work. The sta­tion con­nects Bei­jing with the Yangtze River Delta cities of Tian­jin and Shang­hai, serv­ing 285,000 pas­sen­gers a day, with around 105m pas­sen­gers pre­dicted an­nu­ally by 2030.
